understanding ourselves through our birth {The Secret Language}

Today I found out my Secret Language Name is Graceful Taken Opportunity – and anyone else born on July 13 1985 is the same.  I found this out through The Secret Language, which reveals your natural identity as determined by birthday, starting from the day and branching out more general to week. month and season.

This is not your grandmother’s astrology. The Secret Language is compiled and sorted personality traits gathered for 40 years from over 20,000 people.  It breaks you down according to your birthday, every part of the date having significance.  Yeah, if you are into astrology, you will love The Secret Language and it will blow your socks off!! So let’s look at me:

Born July 13, I am daring, goal-oriented, stalwart, impulsive, unforgiving, self-denigrating.  My strengths lie in my ability to sit and wait for the right moment to strike, like a tiger, which is so true, especially as of late.  This is a rewarding trait to own as it often leads to success, both monetarily and spiritually (cha ching!).

One thing that really caught my eye and made me go wow was when it stated that July 13ths are daring and take extreme risks others typically wouldn’t.  For example, “leaving everything they have and know behind to emigrate to a new country, quitting a regular job to go into business or setting out in an entirely, untried new direction.”  This is me.  I met my husband to be when I was in college in Virginia, dropped everything and moved to Los Angeles with no job or security.  That was just the beginning and my life since then has been a string of amazing opportunities that I was awarded simply by being willing to risk everything, even total failure (which happened sometimes).

These days, I am a bit less risk-taking for the sake of my two little children.  I’m quite fond of them.  This plays well into me being born in the month of the domesticator.  So then there is this:

I am capable of bring the most persuasive person you’ve ever met.  I can manipulate most anyone to do anything.  There it is.  My husband knows it.  My parents know it.  My friends know it.  It’s a fact – so how weird when I see the week I was born is the week of the persuader?!?  It’s starting to get freaky!

What I like about The Secret Language is it is not just about guessing who you are.  While it lists traits and gives explanations and conjecture, it also offers advice – advice that was spot-on for me.  I do feel like I understand myself better after reading through the extensive information.  I’m talking lots of info and insight into yourself, and very specific details.  There are even health concerns to watch out for according to your birthday.

Naturally, after I read my deets, I put my husband’s birthday in and then my daughter and then, my baby boy.  He is 9 months old and his personality isn’t very apparent yet, so it was fun to read about the man he might grow to be.  I learned Gabriel (January 27, 2013) will be an Influential Precocity – a bright, imaginative, rebellious (yikes) and intuitive boy born in the week of… genius!  It is all so interesting.  You can put in two dates to compare the relationship (spouse, sibling, friend, whatever!).
