a deep detox for your car’s engine {Techron at Pep Boys}

This post brought to you by Pep Boys and Techron. All opinions are 100% mine.

I won’t pretend to be an automotive expert, because I am not.  But, I do love my car, like really love my car, and want to keep her running at peak performance.  I may not know cars, but Techron does.  Techron Fuel System Cleaner cleans your engine much like the detoxes I run through my own body.  This cleaning results in better performance, lower emissions and maximum fuel economy.

The other day I left my home and headed for Pep Boys, a place I am now a fan of.  Pep Boys is a very friendly place to visit as it is full of men who are very helpful.  It also smells of new tires, a scent I realize now I am very fond of.  With my voucher in hand, I had my pick of store employees, all ready to take me to my Techron Feul System Cleaner.  The first thing the informed employee told me was I would need to pour the cleaner in my almost empty engine.  *crap* I had just filled the tank on the way over!

Good thing I had a few places across the valley that I needed to drive to.  Before I knew it, I was practically running on fumes. This has to be the easiest car maintenance there is.  Simply pour the whole bottle in your near-empty tank and then add gasoline (12 gallons for a 12 oz bottle, 20 gallons for the 20 oz).

This is an easy way to give your engine a quick detox, so simple you can do it in a dress and heels.  No worries about your manicure, the Techron Fuel System Cleaner goes down with a couple glugs…no time or effort at all.  This mom of two and confessed automotive-know nothing will be using this product every 3,000 miles.

Find a Pep Boys Near You and pick up a Techron Fuel System Cleaner for each car in your garage.  Not only will it improve your car’s performance by removing harmful fuel system deposits, but it will also prevent deposit formation.  An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!  A dirty engine burns fuel less efficiently, so this product is very beneficial for the environment.

    Ohmyheck – the pic of you putting gas in the car is SO darn cute :) If you can do car maintenance in a dress, I should be able to do something around here in my yoga pants, lol!

    Your dress is SO cute! I don’t know much of anything about cars but if you can handle this while wearing that adorable dress I’m sure I can too, haha.
