spring kids clothing {Fabkids}

Spring has sprung and I am just loving it.  Our yard is full of blooms on all the cactus, succulents and citrus trees.  It is beautiful!  The weather is warm here in the desert, but not yet blistering – so, perfect!  We are all in flowy, thin fabrics, shorts and swimsuits… bring on the whites, the florals and the chambray!

I’ve written before about my undying love for FabKids and the amazing quality and thoughtful designs for kids.  Today I am back to share pieces from the April lookbook for both girl and boy.  Let’s start with girl.  My 8 year old is a blossoming fashionista with her own thoughts on how her outfits should be put together.  Lately, I keep finding myself shocked by her choices when we are shopping – in a good way – her style thoughts are maturing and it is awesome.  She is never afraid to go with the latest trends or create her own.

The other day we were walking through a store and Savannah picked out this amazing laced jumpsuit.  I was so happy for two reasons, 1. it was beautiful and 2. I knew a FabKids jumpsuit was coming in the mail.  This Pink Ruffle Jumper is the cutest thing – so on-trend yet so playful.  Jumpers are so great for active playdates, school, anywhere where your daughter wants to feel feminine but wants to keep up with the boys. Plus – it has pockets!

Savannah styles her jumpsuit with a navy blue cami underneath and she likes to pull the legs up capri-style.  That’s an 8 year old’s take on this fab jumpsuit and I think she is spot on!  She also likes to wear it without a cami but with a teal beret of hers… smart choice when you see there is an exact teal in the fabric of the jumper!

This jumper suits Savannah’s style, a laid back, feminine, lounger.  It is awesome for hanging out by the school or pool.  Casual cool for spring… what is not to love?!  The super soft, stretchy jersey is easy to wear and fits well with the elastic waist with a pre-tied ribbon that will never come untied.  If you have a daughter, I know you join me in the glee that comes with a pre-tied ribbon!

Let’s jump to the boy. Man, this boy.  He is tough for photos so I don’t feature many outfits of his.  He has a very do-not-care attitude when the camera lens pops into his view, and I can’t blame him.  He has exploring to do.  I couldn’t pass up on this Luchador Mask Tee!  Best graphic ever, right? …and I don’t usually like graphics!

You can purchase this tee with other bottoms, but I like it paired with the khaki cargo shorts.  It has an elastic waist (not adjustable) and comes with pickets for your little guy to tuck his treasures or snacks in.  These shorts also come in olive green and boombox print.
