how Spain does baby {Babyhome}

I always want to know what is happening baby-wise  in other parts of the world.  Some of the greatest design can be found in Europe and Australia it seems.  Painfully, most of it is not available for US consumption.  It is a very sad yet true fact.  I spent a long time looking through what Playtime Paris had to offer this year.  On a side note: Playtime New York is in a month!  I found so many great new designers running the full gamut: from clothing to cosmetics to gear.  One company I am totally in love with is Babyhome.

Babyhome offers really fantastic designs, colors, and materials.  My top three favorite items: Dream (bassinet),  Onfour (rocker with wheels), and Sweet (bouncer/high chair).  The Dream is a lightweight bassinet that can be in a fixed position or rocker position.  They also come with castors to make moving them around the house extremely easy.  It also already comes with a mattress and sleeping bag.  The Dream collapses and folds easily as well, making it a GREAT travel cribSweet (on the right of Dream) is their newest item.  The base is very versatile as it can be a hammock or a highchair, and both look great!  You know I drool over multitaskers.  The Sweet is made of aluminum framing like the rest in it’s clan (hello awesome Bugaboo, Mutsy, etc).  In the Hammock position, you have the castors option, making it a breeze to wheel it around (sounds like a fun ride). The seat can be at two different positions, lower when they are young.   I really love that there is a convenient bag for toys attached as well. The highchair should remain stable (no castors allowed here ladies).  The eating/playing tray can be removed, making it just a chair that you can then pull up to your dining table.

And lastly is Onfour, which I think is plain genius and wish I had it with my daughter when she was a new babe.  There’s not much worse than your baby falling asleep in a bouncer and you need to move rooms.  No one wants to disturb a sleeping baby, no one.  The Onfour can be smoothly and easily rolled into another room, outside, wherever you need.  An optional umbrella makes this perfect for a wonderful sunny day outside.  The chair possesses four different positions and folds up easily.

Check out their other Babyhome products including a beautiful stroller (Emotion Xtreet) and a bed barrier (Side).
