a shade for the season {Julep}

boris and nicole julepTis’ the season for festive polishes, and who better to look to than Julep, a surefire winner in my book.  Unique, complementary shades with that super durable chip-resistant formula, Julep polishes always keep one step ahead.

Boris and Nicole, an autumn red-brown color carried me through the end of fall and into the holiday season.  This polish is a frost, which is a little bit shimmer, a little bit metallic and a whole lot of drama.  Frost finishes give your nails a festive kick without the over-the-top glitter (which certainly has its place too).

I am currently loving Boris and Nicole with the drabs of the season, a sophisticated pop against browns and blacks, but found I absolutely adore it next to winter greens.  I was as surprised as you are right now.  I’m not talking about celadon, but emerald and forest seem to be complimented quite well with this ambiguous shade.

Perfect for the holiday gatherings of Christmas and New Years, Boris and Nicole also effortlessly marries with glitzy gold.  Perk up the gloomy season with this go-with-most yet exciting shade.  As always, Julep is 4-free and still my most durable chip-resistant polish in the house!
