rain protection for strolling parents {My Blue Bumbershoot}

When you are strolling your baby along in your top of the line, decked out baby stroller, most concerns are for the precious cargo.  We research and test drive every stoller on the market, finally settling on one.  Then, it’s all about accessories.  We find the need to further enhance our strollers with nets, cozies, and rain shields, but what about mom and dad?  It is awesome that we can push our babies out in the rain, completely unaffected by the weather.  But it can be difficult to push that luxury ride while holding your own umbrella, or just getting pelted with rain.

My Blue Bumbershoot is the ultimate stroller accessory as it is just for mom/dad.  It will snap onto virtually any stroller handle (up to 5″), allowing the parent to push and stay dry with ease.  The transparent dome allows you to have access to all direction visibility, and also looks modern.  The umbrella dome holds it shape with flexible fiberglass ribs.  One thing that really impressed me during my review was the diameter of the umbrella, a roomy 37″.   Since the umbrella is height adjustable, anyone can get full coverage while chauffeuring babies around.  Another great feature of the Bumbershoot is the range of motion.  Once you pop it’s double knobbed clamp onto the stroller, you have 4 tilting options, offering you maximum coverage no matter which way the rain slants.  When the rain stops, simply pop the umbrella closed and let it hand from the stroller bar (end and out of your way).  This is an ingenious (why didn’t I think of that) product, a total must have for any stroller pusher.

Leave the house with perfectly styled hair, even during a torrential down pour.  Purchase your own Bumbershoot and keep yourself out of the elements at the My Blue Bumbershoot website.  Check out the how-to once yours arrives for exceptional performance.

Special thanks to My Blue Bumbershoot for providing a sample for review purposes.
