Plant a Kiss {Amy Krouse Rosenthal}

With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, I’m on the hunt for educational, fun items to surprise my daughter with. I was so excited to see that Amy Krouse Rosenthal just released a new book that was illustrated by Peter Reynolds titled, Plant a Kiss. I’ve yet to meet a child that can resist the sparkle of glitter and magic. This book is sweet, inspiring and most of all, glittery!!

This book is about Little Miss who plants a kiss. She cares for it, waters it and waits. Finally after she to the point of frustration, it sprouted. Everyone comes around to see her magical glittery new item and she wants nothing more than to share it with everyone. Some tried to talk her out of it, stating that it was too rare and it would all be gone. But Little Miss learned that one small act of love can bloom into something bigger and much more dazzling that she or any of her friends could ever imagine. Enjoy her journey through kindness and giving that all began with her one planted kiss.

This is a wonderful book to add to your child’s Valentine’s Day basket for when they wake up in the morning. I can’t imagine a better book to read as they go to sleep on February 14. Head over to Harper Collins to learn more about Plant a Kiss and to see all the different retailers that you can purchase the book from. Find it for only $10.19 at Amazon.
