dentist recommended pacifiers with modern design {MAM}

MAM perfect pacifierWith my first baby, I always worried about the effects of pacifiers on her developing mouth.  She never took to them, rather opting for her first two fingers instead, so I didn’t put much more thought into it until the announcement of baby #2.  Looking deep into the market, I came up with the answer for my new baby’s soothing needs, MAM.  With MAM pacifiers, there is no cause for concern as they are designed and developed by pediatric dentists and orthodontists.  Smartly designed to fit and not irritate baby’s mouth, there are several options available in the MAM pacifier family.

MAM pacifiers come in three age categories, newborn 0+, 0-6 months and 6-18 months. For the newest of borns is the Start, which is super lightweight and extra small. As baby starts to grow, so does their pacifier, the shield offering more comfort and ensuring safety for the 0-6 months range.  The pacifier that really stands out to me here is the MAM Perfect, which is designed to reduce the risk of misaligned teeth.  The area between the nipple and the shield is referred to as the “nipple neck” and on the Perfect, this Dento-Flex nipple neck is 60% thinner and 3 times softer.  This means there is less pressure on baby’s jaw and teeth, and therefore reduced risk of misaligned teeth.

MAM Soft pacifiersAs you can tell from viewing the MAM collection, a lot of thought is put into the air holes on the shield, especially in the 6-18 month range.  This is important for airflow on the skin.  I think we have all seen those poor babies with red, irritated, rashy rings around their mouths.  Once again, these pacifiers for older babies have larger shields, providing maximum comfort.  The MAM Perfect is also in this range, and I highly recommend it, but for the teething baby, try the MAM Soft.  These pacifiers have soft side rims, ideal for those swollen gums to bear down on.

Quite possibly the coolest feature to find on a pacifier is glow in the dark, and the MAM Night collection does just that.  Available in both the 0-6 and 6-18 month range, the MAM Night glows at night making it easier to find for your or baby.  I found that with some direct sunlight during the day, the MAM Night glowed clear through the night and into the wee hours of the morning.  Is there anything more adorable than a sleeping baby with a glowing pacifier in their mouth?  I think not.

These MAM pacifiers have symmetrical, super soft, anti-slip silicone nipples.  BPA free, these are one product purchase you do not have to stress over.  MAM pacifiers come in super convenient cases, perfect to toss into your diaper bag and go.  A really pleasant surprise for me was the amount of designs available.  From bold, modern colors and patterns to soft (still modern) pastels and characters, MAM can truly say their pacifiers double as a fashionable accessory.

    Hi! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers? I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on. Any tips?
