Mumi&Bubi {perfect-sized portions} + giveaway

Imagine making a month’s supply of baby food in about 20 minutes. Crazy, right? My next baby will luck out in this category more than my daughter did (maybe my next one won’t be such a picky eater either!) Mumi&Bubi created a Solids Starter Kit like no other. I know a lot of moms who use ice cube trays, but the sizes aren’t right for new eater, they’re hard to just get one out and they’re bulky. Mumi&Bubi’s kits come with two premium freezer trays and lids, each making 21 cubes. So you’ll have a total of 42 cubes, which are each about 2 tablespoons or 1 oz.  Their products are made in New Zealand from non-toxic, virgin polypropylene PP5,and are top-shelf dishwasher-safe. For your peace of mind, the material of the trays are certified free of phthalates, BPA, and PVC. They even come with 27 different recipes to get you started on what to add to your trays for your little mouths.

Here’s what I love about these trays. I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to try out a few different trays for ITKM. The other trays store a lot more food in each slot than the Mumi&Bubi trays causing you to have to possibly waste food for new solid food eaters. Those larger portion size trays are better for when your little one is growing like a weed and requires more food. But when they first start off, they eat very little and the other trays tend to be too large and you end up washing most of it down the drain. As they grow, Mumi&Bubi’s trays allow you to offer them a variety of items at each feeding, again without wasting because you will only be thawing out enough to satisfy them. These are seriously the answer we’ve been looking for during this in-between time. They’re extremely easy to use as well. Just a little pressure on the back side of each cube and they simply pop right out. These two trays hold six times the amount cubes than other trays yet take up the same amount of room in your freezer, handy, right?
