two million smiles and counting {Invisalign}

invisalign reviewOne of the things I am most grateful to my parents for is the attention (and $$) they gave to my teeth.  Having a perfect smile as an adult is totally worth the pain of braces as a child.  Sure they were uncomfortable, even painful at times, they were embarrassing and a nuisance, but at least I could change the color of the rubberbands, right?  As a cheerleader I could easily show my school spirit (let’s hear it) with red, white and blue rubberbands.  Go Patriots.  And the holidays… you weren’t cool unless you were sporting green and red bands come Christmas time.  But in all honesty, today, as a 20-something I am so grateful and yes, it was all worth it.

Kids today, right?  They have it all and are so spoiled.  This is said with each new generation, and thank God because that means life is evolving in a positive direction.  These days, kids do not have to be subjected to the metal braces of yore.  With Invisalign “the clear braces” kids can enjoy the benefits of straightening their teeth without a lot of the grief traditional braces cause.  There are no rogue wires (oh how terrible that was) to stab the mouth, no food restrictions, no embarrassing metal glued to the teeth… With Invisalign it is also so much easier to clean the teeth because the aligners can be removed.

Now your kids can have their teeth straightened in comfort and relative peace.  The pure embarrassment that comes along with braces is eliminated, which is huge.  Traditional braces can have quite the negative impact on self confidence, and this is a problem, especially during these important, formative years.  When Invisalign asked to see our old photos of us with braces, I didn’t think twice about it.  But after sending my mom on a hunt, what I found was there were no photos of me with braces.  I didn’t smile openly for the year and a half I had braces, and that is so sad!  The fact alone that your kids will not have to hide their smiles during braces time is worth looking into Invisalign alone.

If you have a child ready for an alignment, or maybe you have been putting off braces for yourself, check out Invisalign.  Invisalign can treat all of the common issues with teeth like crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite and crossbite.  Take the Invisalign Smile Assessment, which is a quick and free quiz to see if Invisalign is right for you (or your child).  Then check out the Invisalign Doctor Locator to set up an appointment.  Give the gift of a perfect smile to your kids, Invisalign has already done this for two million smiles and counting!
