a natural exfoliant {InstantPeel}

There is something so wonderfully fun about facial treatments.  They can become quite addicting, I’ve noticed.  When I came across InstantPeel, I was intrigued.  The concept of the peel was familiar, but the method was a new one for me.  This treatment you apply in the shower, once your skin has become moist from the steam (about 5 minutes).  You don’t want your skin to be super wet, just slightly damp and supple.  At this point, your pores are open and ready to be cleansed.  Apply small amounts of the cream to section after section of your face, spending time massaging back and forth until you feel it peel and roll up, and eventually stop.  Then move onto the next area.  Like glycolic acid peels and dermabrasion, Instant Peel’s combination of proteins and enzymes naturally peel away dead skin cells and impurities.  Unlike the chemical peels and scrubs I mentioned before, this product can be used on even the most sensitive of skin.

After just one application in the shower, I saw a very refreshed face; the way it looks after a treatment at the dermatologist’s office.   It’s that very clean look and feel that I’ve grown to strive for.   There is also something very satisfying about actually feeling the peel roll up and wash away, knowing that it is taking dead skin cells with it.  There is absolutely no burn, sting, or irritation.  It won’t even make my some-what sensitive skin turn a temporary pink.  I use this peel now on my face and neck, but it can be used on other parts of your body as well.  I like the convenience of being about to use it in the shower, just apply for a few minutes and then rinse away the impurities.  Earthen, mother of InstantPeel, also has a few other products that you may want to look into.

Purchase your own pack of 6 single use InstantPeel for $50.  It’s worth the buck.

Special thanks to Earthen for providing a sample of InstantPeel for review purposes.
