Owl Clock {Tree by Kerri Lee}

Recently, my four year old daughter has become quite interested in time. Always asking, “What time is it now? What time is it in the car? What time is it at home?” After explaining on numerous occasions that the time is the same in the car as it is at home, my husband and I thought that this might be the perfect opportunity to teach her how to tell time and get her, her very own clock. With mostly digital clocks in our house, we knew that we wanted to go with an analog clock to teach her how to tell time.

I was so excited when I came across the handmade Owl Clock created by the company Tree by Kerri Lee. The clock is the perfect size, measuring at 10” wide x 12” tall and making it easily readable from any location in a child’s bedroom. The numbers are hand painted using six deferent alternating colors. This feature seemed to be a big hit with my daughter and also made it easier for her to recognize each individual number. Since hanging it up, my daughter will run into her room to tell me which number the big hand and the little hand are on. Besides being absolutely adorable, it has also been a wonderful teaching tool so far.

I find it utterly charming that all Tree by Kerri Lee’s products are created in a studio located along the banks of the Delaware River in a century old general store building. They have a wide variety of darling products including items such as bookends, growth charts and music boxes (just to name a few). Each item is beautifully hand crafted with exceptional quality using responsibly harvested wood. If you are looking for that perfect baby shower gift or a gift for a child’s birthday then Tree by Kerri Lee is a definite website worth checking out.

Special thanks to Tree by Kerri Lee for providing a sample to facilitate this review.
