{online shopping} hit the jackpot with Jack Be Natural

You know how every once in a while, you stumble upon an amazing online store or website that just blows you away by their prices and excellent customer service? Well I would like to share one I found with you, Jack Be Natural. When I first got into cloth diapering, I wanted an online store that offered a good selection of products and fast shipping.  I got that and much more with Jack Be Natural.  I was originally roped into cloth diapering after a video I saw on YouTube by Jack Be Natural founders.  They have a deep concern for educating parents on the benefits of cloth diapering… and a savvy business model.

They offer free shipping on all orders (excluding heavier items like laundry detergent, but then only $3.) They ALSO give you $1 back in store credit for every $15 you spend, a bargain mama’s dream! So, I placed my order and not only was I surprised to see my address on the package handwritten, but there also was a cute little thank you note.  The note was attached to a free knapsack that included not only my items, but some samples of cloth diaper friendly detergent, bio-liners, and a very detailed care sheet for cloth diapering. This blew me away. Their shipping was incredibly fast.  Since my first time, I must have ordered 8 more times and it never took more than 3 days.

Now, let’s talk customer service. I had an issue one time when I ordered their Crunchy Clean Sprinkles.  The lid was not all the way on and some leaked out into the package. I simply wanted to notify them of the issue with the lid, but they insisted on sending me a new one right away.   When the replacement arrived (only two days later), the lid was really well wrapped up so my problem would not happen again.  That is impressive. They are always pleasant and friendly to deal with and I highly recommend turning to them for your cloth diapering needs.

We love to promote family-run businesses like Jack Be Natural.  Here is a bit of their story:

“A middle-class family of four with two great kids, aspiring entrepreneurs and obsessed with our children’s health and well being.   All parents care about their children’s health and well being; however, in today’s universe of children’s and baby products there are numerous hazards out there that the majority of the public, including us at one point, are simply not aware of.  For example, childrens bottles made from plastics that release harmful chemicals, the potentially harmful raw materials that go into disposable diaper manufacturing and the list goes on and on.

Our family has always made a conscious effort to use natural and/or organic products but at the same time we have taken the time to learn the facts and make sure that we don’t detach from reality on what is safe and what isn’t.  In many cases evidence currently available regarding the accuracy of claims made by various groups and organizations on why some of these products are harmful are not conclusive and have two sides to the story.  Our stance? If the ease of use and economic impact is the same, minimal or better, then why take a chance?!?!

Hence, we started exploring better alternatives for everyday products we purchased for ourselves as well as our children.  Admittedly these products were available at a slight premium to the average national brands but we both agreed that this premium was a very small price to pay to ensure the well being and health of our children, not to mention our piece of mind!

Combining our passion for natural products with our entrepreneurial spirit resulted in the creation of Jack Be Natural.  Our mantra is simple.  Educate other parents like ourselves on the advantages of natural baby products while providing them at fair and affordable prices.  At the same time we fulfill our dream of starting our own business. ”
