baby mittens with stay-on power {guavamitts by guavakids}

baby infant mittens Keeping mitts on infants can be quite the task.  I’m not sure why, but their nails seem to grow super fast, and if you’re not on top if it, they end up scratching themselves.  Their nails are so pliable, you would think they wouldn’t be sharp–but you would be wrong!  When my daughter was born I put these very primitive-looking mitts on her hands.  They were more like sacks that cinched around the wrist.  While they got the job done most of the time, they had their downfalls.  One very big con was that they were always falling off.  The child had no fine motor skills but still managed to wiggle them off.  I remember parents telling me to just put socks on her hands.  This method did work but at the end of the day, my daughter had socks on her hands… and that just didn’t sit well with me.  Looking for a modern, smart and eco-friendly solution?  Look no further than guavakids.

Guavakids is the company behind the innovative guavamitts.   These infant mittens are unlike any on the market.  They start with eco-friendly fabrics: sustainable bamboo and organic cotton.  This blend is naturally antimicrobial and breathable.  The mitts are so super soft, perfect to sit next to your newborn’s delicate skin.  On this material is printed modern, eye-catching designs.  These patterns work for more than just aesthetics as they are high contrast graphics–perfect for far-sighted newborns.  Studies show that infants prefer to look at high contrast patterns, especially black and white.  Each little mitt is reversible (love that) and on that other side is a black and white fabric.  Newborns can only focus on objects 8-10 inches away from their face, putting their hands right in the foreground.  Help their early development with these brain-stimulating mittens.

Quite possibly the most important feature of the guavamitts is their ability to stay on.  What good are the other features if the mitts will not stay on?  Mittens are great to keep baby from scratching themselves (frequently the face).  They are also great to keep away germs that they come in contact with.  Since the material is naturally antimicrobial, the mitts will not hold the germs either.  Guavamitts have a two-part closure.  This means that while they use elastic to cinch in on the wrist, there is also a Velcro strap on the top side.  This strap is adjustable, allowing you to fit the mittens on snugly to where they won’t fall off, but they won’t be too tight either.  Simple design is usually the best, and here is another glowing example.

I can’t wait to see what guavakids will have to offer in the future.  Lili and Linsay, high school friends and moms from Portland, Oregon, are the smarties behind guavakids and their first product, guavamitts.  They seek out simple and successful solutions to everyday problems that arise with motherhood.  Their ideas reflect their priority of blending functionality, eco-consciousness and great style.  They really hit it out of the park with guavamitts.  Ringing in at $12 a pair, $20 for a 2 pack, these little mitts are very giftable.  Choose from nine different patterns, four 2-pack options.  Machine wash but air dry is best, avoiding any shrinkage.  Air drying them will also keep the color vibrant.  Purchase directly from guavakids.  Free shipping on all US orders!  To kick off Canadian sales, guavakids is also offer free shipping to Canada for the next two weeks as well!

    Most of the things you claim is supprisingly legitimate and it makes me ponder the reason why I hadn’t looked at this in this light before. This particular piece really did turn the light on for me as far as this particular issue goes. Nonetheless at this time there is actually one position I am not necessarily too cozy with and while I attempt to reconcile that with the central theme of your point, let me see just what the rest of the subscribers have to point out.Nicely done.

    The following time I read a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I do know it was my choice to learn, however I really thought youd have something attention-grabbing to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you might fix if you happen to werent too busy looking for attention.
