Little Goblins Ten {Halloween Books}

Little Goblins Ten

It’s time again for another great Halloween book, Little Goblins Ten. Written by Pamela Jane, Illustrated by Jane Manning. This book takes you on an adventure from monsters to ghosts and even mummies as you count along the way. Written to the nursery rhyme “Over in the Meadow” you’ll notice how the rhymes roll right off your tongue.

Each of the ten beasts howl, rattle or cackle depending on which area of the forest you’re passing through. Your child will get to count the number they see on the page and will likely be able to recite it after the second time of reading it to them. The opening monsters in the book remind me a lot of Where the Wild Things Are.

The illustrations are vibrant, bold and again are something I’d adore buying a print of to hang in my daughter’s room. Ok, maybe not of goblins, but they’re adorable. Halloween books have come a long way since I was young. Your child will cherish reading their Halloween books as you make your way through the month of October.

Available through Harper Collins, which provides links to several retailers. This book recently released, so be one of the first ones to add it to your collection. This will have you singing some ghostly tunes as you fall asleep.

Special thanks to Harper Collins for providing a sample for review.

    Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a excellent job with this. In addition, the blog loads very fast for me on Firefox. Excellent Blog!
