toddler nutrition with DHA {Enfagrow} + giveaway

I heart my baby boy, but he is a finicky eater. That’s why I was thrilled at the opportunity to try out Enfagrow Toddler products as a part of this sponsored post program.

There is nothing more nerve-wracking than wondering if your babies are getting enough of the right nutrition.  My second child, now 20 months is a boy, a big boy who grows faster than a weed.  Keeping him full is a challenge, soo unlike my first (a petite girl).  To avoid the typical lack of DHA in my toddler’s diet, along with other excellent nutrition, I’ve turned to Enfagrow Toddler.

Eating issues are common with kids, we all know that.  My daughter has always been on board to try new foods (thanking my lucky stars) but the quantity was always my concern.  The girl eats like a bird, maybe less, especially when she was in her toddler years.  With my current toddler, I have the opposite concern.  He wants to eat all day, but is MUCH pickier about what he’s eating.  His pickiness fluctuates from day to day.  What was his favorite food yesterday, he may despise today.  It drives me nuts and I worry about his nutrition.

At least I still have “milk drinks”.  Gabriel never turns down a bottle or sippy cup, always thirsty that one — granted it is summer in the desert…  When he turned a year old we made the switch from formula to soy milk.  Vanilla Soy Milk… no cows milk, no rice milk, no almond milk, no regular soy milk — ONLY vanilla soy milk.  See, picky.  While I’m content with the nutrition in the soy milk, it just doesn’t seem enough.  Now I swap back and forth between vanilla soy milk and Enfagrow Toddler Next Step.

By age 3, a toddler’s brain has reached 85% of its adult size.  These first years when they are learning and growing SO much, it is crucial to provide them the essential nutrition.  DHA is a tough one.  I don’t know about you, but my 18 month old spits out fish.  He wants absolutely nothing to do with it.  DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid that is important for brain and eye development, is found in fatty fish like salmon and sardines. When was the last time your toddler ate a sardine?  Mhmm… On average, a typical toddler only gets 25% of the DHA experts recommends.

Another option?  Enfagrow Toddler, a line of toddler drinks that have DHA.  Nutritionally tailored to toddlers, they are designed to complement a toddler’s regular diet.  Besides DHA, Enfagrow Toddler products have important nutrients like calcium, vitamin D and iron for healthy growth, and a prebiotics blend for healthy digestion.  Just two servings a day!

Gabriel was previously used to formula, so the Enfagrow Toddler was an easy addition.  I give him 6-8 fl oz in the morning and another at night… no complaints from him and I’m sleeping MUCH better at night now.  Enfagrow is sold in a powder or convenient ready-to-drink boxes. The core of your writing whilst sounding agreeable at first, did not sit very well with me after some time. Someplace throughout the sentences you actually were able to make me a believer but only for a while. I still have got a problem with your leaps in assumptions and you would do nicely to help fill in all those breaks. In the event you can accomplish that, I would certainly be impressed.
