{DIY} Paper Hearts

I’m absolutely in love with this little craft project, as well as the rest of Clara’s site. Her blog is called The Home in Paradise. Her style is clean and colorful. She posts about how she created all of the rooms in her house, craft projects and so much more.

These adorable paper hearts look much more complicated to make than they truly are. Using a thin piece of cork tile, you could even use cardboard and cut out the heart shape. Cover the front and back with scrapbook paper of your choice. She finished it off with a piece of silk cord. Using a leather puncher, she punched a hole through the top of the heart to hand rick rack from. I absolutely love the added touch of the dotted lines around the border of the heart to make it look sewn. She hung these hearts on her daughters closet door knobs as well as from the fan in her room. Check out her blog and her craftiness!
