Celebrate the Boy{MADE}

Calling all crafty/sewing mamas of boys!! If you haven’t noticed in the blogosphere, boy tutorials and crafts are pretty scarce. I seriously drool over the girly stuff, ooh-ing and ahh-ing the whole time. Then I realize,” I will never get to do those crafts” which turns into me scouring the Internet for cute boy tutes. Two fabulous and talented mom bloggers, who are also moms of boys, saw this and recognized the need for a time to “Celebrate the BOY.” Dana, of MADE and Rae, of Made By Rae joined forces to provide 30 days between February and March of last year to post daily boy step-by-step sewing tutorials and crafts and include guest tutorials from amazing mommy bloggers all over the country.  They even work in some eco-friendly ideals like re-purposing men’s shirts and other fabrics to achieve your creations. With the help of these ladies, you will be attached to your sewing machine and your little boys will be happy campers with all the new and cool stuff you’ll be whipping up.

Check out some of the projects from last year:

So head on over to MADE and Made by Raeand get inspired! Whether it be for your own little man, a nephew, cousin, or friend, this event is definitely one to Celebrate!
