3 easy steps to a clean microwave {Zep}

I’m sharing how to clean your microwave in 3 easy steps and  featuring Zep’s  Microwave Miracle as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #ZepSocialstars

Nothing is better than a long day cleaning the kitchen, said no one ever.  I don’t know about you, but I am always looking for quick fixes when it comes to cleaning.  The microwave is one of my least favorite things to clean.  It can easily get gross in there as microwaves have a tendency to explode things.  When I heard Zep Commercial had a Microwave Miracle that steam cleans in a minute or two, there was a resounding “yep!” in my head.  Now we are onto something.

For you guys, I decided to make the biggest mess in my microwave.  Rather, I let my 8 year old make the mess.  I sat and thought about what the worst case scenario might be and candy came to mind.  The other day my kids were making candy lip lollipops in anticipation of Valentine’s Day… so funny, right?

That melty candy can be SUCH a pain to get off once it hardens so why not let that be my Microwave Miracle test — because it truly would take a miracle to get it off anything easily.  Just look at those red velvet candy stalactites!

Three Easy Steps to Clean a Microwave

Step 1: Spray the Zep Miracle Microwave foam generously all over your turntable.  Turn on your microwave for 1-2 minutes.

Step 2: Pour yourself a glass of wine. This is a crucial step to the process.

Step 3: Now wipe the interior down to reveal the sparkly clean miracle.

If this product works on hardened candy flung around by an 8 year old, it can easily tackle everyday messes like exploding pasta and bubbly soups.  The food simply dissolves and wiping it off is SO so easy.  It also has a very pleasant orange scent that leaves your kitchen smelling fresh – bonus!

You can find Zep Commercial cleaning supplies like Microwave Miracle at your local Home Depot.

    I think that step two would be my favorite step!! This sounds like an amazing product. I hate cleaning our microwave.

    My husband is horrible about cleaning the microwave. I’ve had it for 20 years and it’s always in need of some love and attention.

    I wouldn’t have thought to look at Home Depot for kitchen cleaning products. Will have to pay attention next time I’m in there.

    This product works fantastic. I use it very often in the kitchen. It cleans perfectly my microwave and oven. Firstly I tried with lemon juice but Zep makes things a lot easier. Best regards!
