Soap is great.  Soap can be used to cleanse, decorate, and add fragrance to the air.  Great soaps can be sniffed out as soon as you enter the room, like a great candle.  I would say the top use for soap though, is definitely cleansing.  What matters here?  Well first, it needs to smell lovely, second, it needs to lather, and third, it needs to easily wash away, leaving no residue behind.  There is not much worse than leaving a shower with rubbery-residue skin.   These were the things that I kept in mind while testing YesterYear soaps.  No lie, it passed in all three areas.  The aroma was strong but not overpowering.  The lather was unbelievable.  It took on a creamy consistency, much like lotion.  I rubbed my hands together longer than necessary because it just felt so nice.  The soap rinsed away easily, taking every bit of grime with it.  My hands felt super clean, and even moisturized!  I’m used to my hands drying out after washing, especially during the winter.  Hands down, best bar soap I have ever used.  No lie.
