water balloon baseball {summatime fun}
This super fun water balloon baseball game is part of a post sponsored by Fruit Shoot.
Have I mentioned how hot it is here? Yes, in almost every recent post because it is SO HOT HERE!! This is the trade off for three perfect paradisaical seasons in the desert… a horridly hot summer. Needless to say, we consume an awful lot of beverages. I’m always looking for yummy, high fructose-free, portable drinks for the kids and Fruit Shoot is a house favorite! No added sugar, just natural flavors in a convenient bottle with a new spill-proof cap.
Another crowd pleaser is backyard water games, water balloons being at the top of our list, so when I was asked to come up with a fun game involving Fruit Shoot bottles and a “ball” you know where my mind went first! Water balloons are balls, right? Close enough!
Fill up your water balloons… and I do mean water balloons, not regular balloons… although if you fill up a regular balloon really full, it will certainly pop. I do this outside now, after an incident in my kitchen that left me with a flooded over floor. A little tip from me to you…
Once you are loaded up on water balloons, grab your bat. This time we’re killing two birds with one stone… drinking Fruit Shoot and using the bottles as our bat. Hydration + fun.
