Royal Baby first sippy cups {Tommee Tippee}

As we celebrate the new Royal Arrival, and also mourn the loss of seeing Kate’s maternity styles, Tommee Tippee is here to commemorate the occasion.  Their new line of bottles and sippy cups, perfect for your little prince or princess, are the same trusted products with new designs fit for royalty.  To keep my baby boy hydrated, I chose to check out the Closer to Nature First Sips Cup, sent to me for review.

that leg chub!

My son is 7 months now and we are just starting to introduce the sippy cup.  So far he isn’t 100% sold on the idea… and often quite frustrated.  This results in a bit of a tantrum involving his tiny, yet strong, hands slamming down sippies repeatedly as if trying to massacre a tiny town of ants.  The leader of the pack though is Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature First Sips Cup.  Perhaps it is the utterly adorable Royal Baby print, or maybe just a smart design, one that lends itself to younger babes.  The First Sips is designed for the smallest of the crowd, 4 months to be exact.  I’ve never seen a baby that young with a sippy, but appreciate the option.

ah, now you’ve got it…well, almost

The First Sips is the perfect transitional tool for weening a baby from breast/bottle to grown up cup.  My crazy-handed 7 month old is nowhere near ready for an adult cup, but he needs to learn better hand-mouth control.  First Sips is a great practice tool for him as I see him improving each day.

don’t worry, Gabe, you’ll get it soon enough

The Limited Edition Royal Baby line also includes 9 oz. bottles and soothies for newborns.  On the baby blue boys items you will see adorable bunting and the Queen’s Guards, bearskins and all (are they still made from bears?) and also the words “our little prince”.  The princess style is pink with bunting and features a carriage and the words “our little princess”.  Too cute.  All of it.  So cute.

    Those are adorable! It makes me sad that we’re past the bottle days.

    I’m glad he’s starting to get the hang of it! Clearly you’ve found the cup that will work. :)

    My girls are growing out of their sippy cups but I wish I would have tried these! Ours leaked too much!

    Those sippy cup designs are so adorable! So is your little model! I’ll have to pass this on to a friend who has a little one. Thanks!
