Stylish Headbands That Truly Don’t Slip {Sweaty Bands}

For a few years now, I’ve seen girls randomly at the gym, running, on TV, you name it with their hair pulled back in adorable pony tails and this ridiculously cute head band to hold their hair back as well as to dress up the pony. I’ve gone to every store and purchased every band and one of two things happen. Either they’re crazy tight and give me an instant headache along with turning my face blue from lack of circulation, or the instantly slip backwards on my head as I even so much as take a breath. It’s annoying and I just about gave up on the idea. The problem here is that my daughter’s hair is too short to put back into a ponytail and she seems to only allow hair clips in her hair for about an hour before ripping them out. When she eats, paints, or really does anything, her hair goes in her face and annoys her. She’ll put it behind an hear, but not without covering it in paint or food along the way. I came across Sweaty Bands, a sports and fitness headband that promises to stay put.

I have to say this was the first time, in a long time that I’ve been compeled to dip my foot back into the headband pool after being burned so many times. The fact that they’re made specifically for sports and fitness, all while being absolutely adorable caught my attention. First of all their options are impressive for designs. They have thick and thin bands depending on your preference and can even be created in team colors. They have the adult size Sweaty Band and the kids Sweaty ‘Bandit’ which is designed for kids aged 4 – 7 years old.  This means they fit my little 4 year old, so no more food and paint in her hair!

So do they work you ask? The answer is absolutely! I have to say I was completely skeptical, almost laughing at it as I tried it on myself and my daughter for the first time. I found myself reaching to touch it every few minutes to see if it budget at all and it didn’t! It was the craziest thing ever. I did a full blown workout and my daughter did her usual running around the house like a mad woman and the bands didn’t move and were adorable. I wore my band for an entire day and didn’t get even a shred of a headache from it, which is so impressive to me. Now I understand why so many athletes are wearing these during games and marathons. They’re amazing!

Head over to Sweaty Bands here and look at all the photos of the bands in action with their huge photo gallery. Read their blog and see all the other people raving about them. They’re gorgeous for play or even to go out in. Definitely a must-have item for me and my daughter. I’m heading back there to buy more! What a great item to have in your hospital bag during labor.

Special thanks to Sweaty Bands for providing samples for review purposes.

I must say you have done a fantastic job with this. Additionally, the blog loads very fast for me on Opera. Exceptional Blog!

    Throughout the great pattern of things you secure a B+ just for hard work. Where you actually confused everybody was in all the particulars. You know, people say, the devil is in the details… And that could not be more accurate in this article. Having said that, allow me reveal to you exactly what did work. Your text is actually extremely engaging and this is probably the reason why I am taking the effort to opine. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Second, even though I can easily notice a leaps in reasoning you come up with, I am not really certain of just how you appear to connect your ideas which in turn make your final result. For right now I will, no doubt subscribe to your position however trust in the near future you connect the dots much better.
