Quite possibly the biggest decision you have to make when planning for a new baby is the car seat.  I can speak from terrifying experience that a carseat can save your child’s life.  In fact, one saved my own life when I was an infant, and one saved my daughter’s life a year ago.  When shopping for a carseat, I cannot stress research enough.   A great place to start your research is on Car-Seat.org.  There you will find all kinds of information including safety ratings, tips, reviews and recalls.  For safety ratings from the NHTSA, find your seat on their website.  What you will see is Peg Perego’s Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 with remarkable ratings.
