First we scrub. When the products arrived, I knew I would start with a nice calf and foot soak followed by a scrub and moisturizer. So I pulled out my trusty FlexiBATH and filled it partially with super warm water. The body scrub was exactly what it should be, simplistic in nature. It had just the right texture to buff to perfection, not overly abrasive. The scrub is also quite moisturizing and left my skin ultra smooth and soft. It contains high concentrations of skin nourishing ingredients and anti-aging antioxidants and vitamins.
Once my footsies were dry I tested out the body butter, a moisturizer with a very curious consistency. At first touch it is hard, then it gives easily. It had the perks of a stiff moisturizer — substantial, heavy moisture — but also the perks of a softer one that turned instantly to butter on my warm skin. It spread easily and sank right into my skin, leaving me with happy, supple stems that did not need a second coat. You know the kind, the kind of lotion that seems great but then “dries” leading you to a second application, but not here. Perhaps most curious, the body butter has a slightly gritty underlying texture. It is not abrasive by any means and I found it to be quite a pleasant surprise. The butter contains the same benefits as the scrub in way of antioxidants, vitamins and moisturizers.

Perfect for anyone who is conscious about what they slather on their skin. 100% Pure has not been classified as “pregnancy safe” so that is not what I am claiming. I found that a good majority of products labeled “for pregnant women” scored less than perfect (you will be shocked to see how bad stretch mark creams can be).
