I am at the end of my pregnancy, which means lots of leggings.  As I head in to have my baby, I foresee even more leggings in my future.  Done correctly (hello, leggings are not pants) they are staple items for anyone’s wardrobe.  For moms they are especially perfect because they are easy to pair with a tunic or long sweater, a real thoughtless yet stylish outfit for those busy mornings.

Not all leggings are created equal.  A favorite brand of mine is No nonsense, which is easily found, inexpensive, and most importantly, they fit and look awesome.  No nonsense is the creator of neutral and colorful tights and leggings.  As I mentioned before, I’m pregnant, so I really enjoy the slimming effect of black leggings, maybe too much, so my first look is for the cool weather featuring No nonsense Great Shapes black cotton shaping leggings. This is definitely a “new mom” look I am quite familiar with.  The super comfortable wedge boots, versatile apparel and pretty diaper bag complete the look.

So while this is my every day outfit, it’s rather bland.  No nonsense asked me to consider their bright and colorful tights and how I would incorporate them into my wardrobe.  This was easy.  There is a rainbow of colors to choose from but I tend to gravitate towards jewel tones, leading me to this delicious purple.  Love love love and perfect for winter, looking forward to spring.  I kept with a casual, neutral theme, allowing the accessories to be the pops of color this outfit needed, including the mandatory diaper bag.  I think the tights work rather well!
