The holidays are getting so close… can you feel it? Planning and purchasing for Christmas or Hanukkah can be quite overwhelming, but I also have two kids with January birthdays as well — this is the beginning of my crazy season. Toy research is a top priority, and I am loving what I’m seeing from Pinypon, created by Famosa, a leading European toy company. Perfect for kids ages 4+, the bright and playful world of Pinypon will have your kids creatively playing for hours! I was sent the Weekend Getaway for review.
The Pinypon Weekend Getaway includes a hotel and convertible car, four Pinypon friends and a pet turtle. The set includes 50 accessories to enhance your kids’ imaginative play… so many fantastic features and possibilities. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more detailed hotel or house such as this one. Between all the stickers and accessories, you can really get sucked into the Pinypon world.
The convertible is a nice touch and kind of feels like a bonus to me. Pinypon could have gotten away without the car at the low price of $29.99 but it really adds a lot of game play.
So let’s take a look at the dolls… you can interchange their heads, mid-sections, feet or hair. They are easy to take apart and put together and just really adorable.
Something I love about the Getaway Hotel is that it is easy to pack up and lock up. All the little toys can be tucked away inside… yeay for less clutter! This also means easier transport to friends’ houses. Little hands can easily carry the hotel by the cloud handle.
A super cute detail is the actual locking of the hotel, which is done with a key that comes on a necklace, perfect for your little one to wear. There are also other keyholes throughout the hotel to make your kids really feel like innkeeper.
The Weekend Getaway is a Costco exclusive, so head over there to find this amazing holiday gift. Available at Toys-R-Us is the Snow Ski Lodge and Snow Adventure Car & Tow — both so super duper adorable. Any little girl would be thrilled with these sets under the Christmas tree! Adult assembly help is definitely needed here and due to large amount of stickers to place. The instructions are not super detailed but set up is rather easy. I’d recommend setting this one up Christmas Eve in anticipation for overly excited gift receivers in the morn.
