surviving the holidays {Pampers Giveaway}
This is my first Christmas with two kids, one in diapers. That second child really throws a monkey wrench in daily life, especially when it gets holiday hectic. Our oldest is about to turn 7 so we were in the clear… no diapers, no bottles, just one pretty self-sufficient kid, then, bam. I had a bouncing baby boy! What was I thinking? We’re almost a year in with this one and he still doesn’t sleep through the night. This means we’re sleep deprived and not always thinking clearly. I have had to make late night trips for diapers or formula more times than I care to admit, but that’s why I have CVS right down the street!

I have had to make late night trips for diapers or formula more times than I care to admit, but that’s why I have Gabriel is so unlike my daughter, and maybe it is partially a gender thing. He’s demanding, clingy (mama’s boy!) and sometimes downright angry. He certainly thinks/knows he’s the boss around the house. With everything going on right now, keeping him happy and content is so key. I cannot get a thing done if he isn’t happy, i.e. fully fed, entertained and DRY. 
How do I plan to get through the holiday? It’s about to get crazy so I am already prepared. I’ve stocked up on Pampers so I’m not going to be running to CVS at midnight, for one. 
And for two, I’ve created a huge stash of prepared foods for Gabriel. I’ve frozen banana pieces, created steamer bags of zucchini and carrot, and, his favorite of all, ready-to-eat fruit bags. This is his favorite combo right now: apple, persimmon and prickly pear. I’ve also got an extra loaf of bread in the pantry in case of emergency (my baby is a carb hound). Now all I have to focus on is creating the adult food! 
I’ve said it before, Pampers are our disposables of choice. They fit snug, never leave behind red marks, and they don’t leak, even at night. Now that Pampers has improved upon their diapers, there really is no comparison. What kind of improvements? Pampers diapers are now three times drier than other diapers and the best-fitting diaper, the Swaddlers, now comes in sizes up to 5. Love that! The wipes have improved too and are 20% thicker, meaning you need less wipes for those big messes. Fulfill all of your Pampers needs at your local CVS, staying up late and giving you the best savings!

I will be at my sisters home with family and my daughter and 2 grandchildren will be coming over the day after Christmas
