Animated Storyteller Pinkie Pie {My Little Pony}

My six, nearly seven year old is My Little Pony obsessed.  She’s branched into the Equestria Girls as well — have you seen these — the doll form of My Little Pony?  Anyway, you better bet the Christmas tree has a lot of My Little Pony under it — good thing she doesn’t read my blog!
Most of the MLP swag is in hard figure form, so I am absolutely loving this squeezable plush Pinkie Pie that reads stories!

The Animated Storyteller Pinkie Pie tells adventures from Ponyville and sings three songs. Included are four books so your kids can read along, beginner reader level. They are a great length, perfect for bedtime story or afternoon solo reading.

Pinkie Pie’s mouth does a great job of synching with the stories and the controls are quite responsive.  Easy to navigate right on her leg, young kids will have no problem playing, pausing and reading along.  There is also a hidden off switch near the battery, so parents can put an end to the talking and singing if needed… great idea for younger kids that want to sleep with Pinkie Pie.

Awesome quality, Pinkie Pie was bigger than I anticipated and very much adorable.  The stories are right in line with what you would expect from My Little Pony, drama, adventure and lots of friendship.  I’m pretty sure the books vary, so I won’t go into those details.

Purchase My Little Pony Pinkie Pie Animated Storyteller online for about $28.99, a great price for an entertaining and educational cuddle buddy!  Last minute gift?  Looks for it in Toys-R-Us stores!
