chromed out wooden race cars {Motorworks}

Have I mentioned how cool it is to be a mom of a boy?  Yeah, I’m sure I have.  I love having a girl but it is so much fun to switch over to boy stuff.  It is funny how into construction and cars my boy is at 7 months… it must be an innate trait for males to love things with wheels.  I’m a big fan of wooden toys and these Motorworks race cars are just so rad, especially pimped out with chrome accessories.  These were sent for review but I can guarantee you I will be purchasing more for my son’s collection (accessories interchangable)!

The Motorworks Race Pace Power Pack 2.0 is a a set of two furiously fast race cars, one with orange details, the other yellow.  The body is wooden and I just love the grain.  The colorful accents are a pretty contrast and the chrome also really pops off the wood.

There are a lot of photos of these race cars.  Why? Because my husband diligently takes photos of strollers and car seats for me but is generally quite bored by my requests.  I hand him race cars and he lays down on the driveway and takes a million photos.  Boys and their toys — it never changes!

Did you notice both cars are chromed out?  That is thanks to the Motorworks Chrome Effect 2.0 Accessory Kit which will completely transform a car.  It contains 4 chrome-rimmed wheels, a rear spoiler, front air dam and two side pipes. Switch out the tires and add the accessories.

    My boys would love these! I really like that there are options to interchange and interact with the pieces. And because the majority of the cars are wood they will be really durable. I will absolutely be looking to get these!

    My little nephews LOVE putting things together and taking things apart but so many build-a-car kits are for ages like 8 or 10+ so I love that these are option for the younger guys. I’ll keep these in mind as christmas gifts!
