The Micro/Mini Peel System has three components that will wow you every step of the way. Start with a freshly washed faced that is lightly moist still, and scoop a teaspoon sized amount of Almond Polish into your palm and blend. Massage the grainy polish onto your face in gentle, upward, circular motions until your face it covered. Sit back and enjoy the almond aroma and feel the botanicals go to work for 1-2 minutes. Wash off with the included natural complexion sponge (the same kind your dermatologist uses) and warm water. You will be left with skin that feel refined and clean. Since this is the abrasive step, you may experience a little redness which fades. The deep cleansing Almond Polish is packed with oat kernal flour, bamboo stem powder, honey, orange peel and almond extract. This step emulates a microdermabrasion that refines and smooths the skin.
Pat your skin dry and get ready for the Lemon Strip step, which emulates the benefits of an acid peel using lactic and glycolic acid, orange and lemon extracts, and aspartic acid. Again, use a small teaspoon amount of the product and blend between your palms before massaging onto the neck and face. This clear gel is my favorite part of the treatment. It gives sensations of cooling and tingling to let you know it is working. The active ingredients are powerful and do not require any additional massaging. They work together to constrict pores, firm and clear the complexion. Leave this layer on for 2-3 minutes and continue onto step 3 — no rinse here.
To complete this luxurious spa treatment, apply a teaspoon amount of Chamomile Comfort over the Lemon Strip. This calming mask has a beautiful scent, so enjoy it over the next 20-30 minutes. This step moisturizes, nourishes and soothes the skin, leaving you with a gorgeous complexion. The powerful ingredients used prior to this step demand the Chamomile Comfort and its neutralizing effects. Chamomile calms with the help of bisbolol, borage seed oil, evening primrose oil. azulene and jojoba seed oil to leave you with a glowing complexion. I leave this on for the full 30 minutes because I really enjoy masks and it has a nice sensation. When the time is up, rinse off the face with the natural complexion sponge and warm water.
