It was love at first sight for me with Manuella.  I have a soft spot in my heart for handmade items that are actually QUALITY.  Handcrafted items are no good if they just fall apart after light play.  I also love finding products made in other countries that I may never have regular access to.  Manuella was created by Merav Flam, a graduate of Bezalel Academy for Art and Design Jerusalem.  Her simple, yet exaggerated designs give her plushes a childhood classic feel with a modern design twist.  The bright use of colors also thrills me.  These are not just some tiny baby plushes, as you can see in the pictures.

When my daughter saw her big elephant, she immediately just wanted to hug and squeeze it.  She drags it around everywhere by it’s super long trunk, and sleeps with it every night.  This one can stand up to a toddler’s terror, showcasing it’s superior quality.  His size, bright color, and handle-like ears make him stand out of the pack.  I caught the little princess sleeping with the elephant in her arms during nap time:

Erin:This is seriously the cutest stuffed animal my daughter has. It’s huge, cuddly, has an adorable face and my daughter sleeps with him every night. Sometimes small details, like huge floppy ears make all the difference with having a unique item. Manuella has perfected this concept and creates plush, friendly, modern best friends. The fact that it’s larger than the average plush is a huge plus for me. My daughter grew tired of all her small animals, but this one has staying power. Amazing and hand crafted. Love!
