My baby boy adores Tiny Love in a big way.  Something about their characters and colors really makes him happy, so I couldn’t wait to see all of the new things Tiny Love had planned for us moms.  Top of my list to review was the Magical Night Mobile that transforms from mobile to projector to night light.

Have I mentioned how much I love “grow with me” products?  I have.  Magical Night has three stages of use from newborn to toddlerhood, starting out first as a mobile for your 0-5 month old.  With limited vision, newborns benefit from a mobile fairly close to their face (but out of their grasp).  Magical Night rotates slowly, three adorable characters hanging in tow.  A projected image appears inside the mobile canopy, adding another visual for your newborn babe.  I turned the projection off, however, because I found it to be a little too stimulating.  The rotating mobile and music was plenty.  Pleasant tunes play in three different categories: lullaby, nature and classic.

At 5 months you can remove the canopy with hanging characters.  The projection now reaches up to the ceiling creating a lovely show of animal characters that appear and disappear, much like counting sheep.  I was skeptical and wondered how strong the projection would be, but I found it to be quite brilliant on our 10 ft ceiling.

At some point too early, your baby will become a toddler who becomes a kid.  It happens so fast.  Now (around a year) you child can use Magical Night as a starry night-light and music box.  Place the canopy without the hanging friends back onto the box.  The projector now throws stars up onto the ceiling and your toddler can enjoy 30 min of continuous music.
