This backpack is not for the faint of heart or style. Send your kid back to school this fall with a MadPax backpack, wild yet functional. These spiky leather packs are durable enough for text books and crowded halls, incredible quality. They are also comfortable. The straps are padded as most backpacks are, but the MadPax features 3 additional pads on the backside (two for the shoulders and one across the lower back). I have terrible memories of wearing backpacks with only a couple textbooks that dug into my shoulders. I can tell you from my own perspective that the meshed-over pads press right into your shoulders, relieving pressure. Another great feature is that the pack has a leather exterior. Not only is leather durable, but it is easily cleaned. Simply wipe of any goo with a damp cloth. No more fighting fabric.

MadPax come in four different sizes, suiting needs of kids to teens to adults. From smallest to largest, you have Mighty Bite, The Nibbler, Half Pack, and Full Pack (see above). My daughter is reviewing the Half Pack, which has quickly become her go-to backpack for school starting this fall. The interior is very roomy, large enough to fit full-sized books. There is a medium-sized pocket on the back interior, perfect for pencils, notepads, and any other important bits. All of the backpacks come in a wide variety of bold colors like Purple People Eater, Pink-a-Dot, and even Snake Bite. Purchase your own MadPax backpacks from $15-60 to suit your needs.

Special thanks to MadPax for providing a sample for review purposes.
