the new Little Lounger {Graco}

This post is sponsored by Graco; all opinions are 100% my own.

I’ve learned a lot this year about what we actually need as moms of newborns — what is totally necessary, what is eh… and what is irrelevant or a big waste of money.  What we need most is an extra pair of hands, amirite?  Since that won’t be happening, loungers and swings are a must… if you plan on getting anything done. I’m pretty thrilled by what I’m seeing in the Graco Little Lounger, a multi-tasking 2-in-1 product.

The Little Lounger is a calming rocking seat one minute, a stationary vibrating lounger the next.  Man I wish I had this a few months ago!  My baby boy loved being in a lounger but it needed more motion to it.  The swing he couldn’t stand and screamed when I put him in there — I thought all babies loved swings!?! The Little Lounger would have been the answer and the reason I may have had 15 extra minutes in my day.

Fussy babies will love the rocking seat mode with its gentle rocking motion.  The seat easily rocks back and forth from mom or dad’s touch.  This classic motion will no doubt soothe baby and (hopefully) send him into dreamland.  When the time comes for a lounger, pop down the Rock Locks and you have a stationary lounger — that vibrates.  There are two vibration speeds to suit your needs.

Now here is where my jaw dropped.  The Little Lounger has a multi-position recline and it is so easy to adjust.  Depending on your baby’s age and activity plans, you can adjust the seat with just a pull.  The seat is quite deep (and roomy) and it features a 3 point harness.

Overhead, your baby will enjoy the cute mobile-style fabric toys, or opt for the canopy for some shade.  Which reminds me to mention, the designs are quite pleasant, rather neutral and easy to fit into any home.  And speaking of fit, the Graco Little Lounger folds up super compact, easy to slide into a closet when not in use.  This also makes it easy for travel.

With all these comfort features, any baby would love the Little Lounger, and when baby is comfortable, mom has a moment to breathe.  What would you do with an extra 15 minutes?  Maybe change that tee covered in spit up?  Take a shower? Paint the nails or apply mascara… remember mascara?  Life is hectic with a newborn but the lounger doesn’t stop there.  It actually hold babies up to 30 lbs!  Right now, I would use my 15 minutes to get back to my extravagant facial routine I used to have.

The Graco Little Lounger retails for $79.99 and you can find it at these locations:
