Over the past couple of months I’ve started to notice that my 10 month old daughter really likes to hold onto something while she sleeps, mostly my hand. As much as I would love to stand there by her crib and let her hold my hand all night, it’s just not possible. So, it got me thinking, what if I can find something for her to hold onto that is soft and cozy but not too big? Through some research I found the Lille Throw Blankie by Bebe Au Lait. Since it’s not recommended that children under the age of 12 months sleep with anything in their cribs, the Lille Throw Blankie is just the right size for her to start off using while snoozing or relaxing in her stroller and car seat.
The Lille Throw Blankie is small and lightweight making it the perfect size for little hands. The smooth silky satin trim and soft fleece material are ideal for cuddling. What set this blanket apart from other little fleece blankets is that you can turn it into a ball. You just tuck the blankie into the small colorful pouch that is attached and viola, you have a ball! Being lightweight, it makes it easy for little ones to pick up and throw. My daughter really loves the ball; she throws and chases it around the house while screeching in delight. The ball is excellent for practicing hand and eye coordination as well as entertainment for your child. Watch the video below to see how simple it is to turn into a ball.
Bebe Au Lait’s newest line Lille, has some darling products that include Quibs (bibs), Hooded Towels and Everyday Luxury Blankies. The Throw Blankie comes in two styles; boy and girl and can be purchased for $25.00. These blankies would also make a fabulous gift! You can purchase the above items and the Throw Blankie here.
