Leprechaun Treasure Hunt {St. Patrick’s Day}

Since it is officially March, I can share my favorite new St. Patrick’s Day festivity–the Leprechaun Treasure Hunt!  This is a super fun activity for kids of all ages.  You could do this for your students at school or for your kids at home.  I found this on The Crafty Chicks website and had to immediately “put a pin in it” or Pinterest it–it’s 2012. Best part is they offer free printable shamrocks to make your job easier.

It starts with a rainbow shamrock card with a cute riddle detailing the hunt.  There are shamrocks of each color of the rainbow for the kids to find in order, and at the end–a treasure of your making of course.  It is a great way for young kids to practice their colors plus eventful for all kids to receive treasures from a secretive leprechaun!  And who doesn’t love a good treasure hunt? To see the whole list of shamrocks and download them, head over to The Crafty Chicks.
