Wet, Wring, Snap, Wear {Kool Tool} + coupon code

Living in the Great Northwest it is quite easy to get used to mild weather with frequent drizzling and cloud cover…except for the few weeks we get in the summer when it is ridiculously hot and muggy.

The first time I tried out my new Kool Tool it was a few days before my son’s birthday party.  I had to finish up with the superhero party favors in my sewing room, the only room in our house that does not have an A/C vent and faces the sun during the day. I was absolutely hot and miserable but I HAD to get those capes and masks done. Then I remembered I had my Kool Tool! I grabbed it from my bathroom, opened it up and followed the instructions; wet, wring, snap, wear. I loosely draped it around my neck and tucked it into my shirt collar. I instantly felt cooler and refreshed. The room I was working in was so warm I did have to take it off every few minutes to “re-snap” to make it cool again but that is a heck of a lot better than having to run it under cold water again, plus it didn’t leave a big wet mark on my shirt!

I’ve also taken my Kool Tool to the gym with me. It’s great to have at the gym to cool myself down during one of my intense 1.5 hour workouts. I never have to re-wet it, just snap and go.

A few things I did notice while working out with it is it can seem to get a little heavy if you wear it while running. My best suggestion is to wear it for a little bit and then set it aside on your treadmill, elliptical or whatever else you’re using. If you jog or workout outside you may want to have somewhere to put it, maybe a fanny pack so it doesn’t fall off onto the ground. Also, the Kool Tool is not meant to absorb moisture once it is wet and ready for use. So, if you sweat a lot during your workouts you may also want to have a small towel to mop up the sweat.

I’m really glad to have a few of these in my home. I’m sure they’ll come in handy for a lot more as we come closer to winter aka “cold and flu season”. When someone in my family is running a temperature we always use a wet washcloth that we have to constantly refresh and wring like crazy.  With the Kool Tool, I’m not going to have to do that. I’ll be able to stay with my sick baby and comfort him without constantly getting up to cool the cloth again! This is going to work out great!
