My daughter is one of those typical kids who doesn’t care for the dark, and would rather her room be lit up like a Christmas tree at night. This has led to a rather thorough search for all sorts of night lights. Night lights have certainly come a long way from the boring bulbs I remember stuck to the sockets. Now, thanks to charging stations, kids can sleep with their lights, giving them great comfort. My favorite is the Kinderglo: safe, portable and mega adorable. It casts just the right amount of light for sleeping, a soft glow that soothes baby to sleep.
Kinderglo night lights come in a range of really adorable characters your kids are sure to love. The lights go beyond your typical characters to include animals like moose and hippo, even an angel. My 5 year old daughter is currently obsessing over dinosaurs (budding archaeologist) so she opted for the Tyrannosaurus Rex (see above). Each light can hold a 8-10 hour charge so it will take your child all through the night. If they just need that extra glow while they fall asleep, switch the nightlight to turn off in 30 minutes. You also have the color options of red, green, blue or changing. The changing light cycles through the spectrum, one color fading into the next. This LED light stays cool and safe so while it looks great from furniture, it can also be snuggled. I have to say my favorite feature of the Kinderglo is its portability. My daughter loves to grab it on the way to the bathroom at night — cute to see a glowing t-rex go by in her half-asleep hands.
