We all know accessories make the outfit.  It’s my personal belief that accessories are more powerful than the clothing.  This was instilled in me at a young age and it appears I have already begun to instill it in my own daughter.  After my daughter dresses in the morning, she routinely heads straight to her nightstand which has turned into her accessory table.  On that table lies her prized collections of headbands, hair clips, and jewelry.  She picks what she believes matches (actual matching is questionable).  Then she goes straight the coat rack her dad built for her.  This rack does house a rain coat, but everything else on there is more headbands, necklaces, and lots of hats.  This is a ritual that I’d like to keep going because, well, it’s cute.

You can imagine I am always on the hunt for new items to add to her collection.  Etsy is a great place to find unique accessories and Heather Beardall’s shop is no exception.   She makes and sells beautiful hats, headbands, booties and more.  She crochets very well and uses a wide variety of colors.  Her store has items for boys and girls.   When Heather offered the  3 chain flower headband for review I was thrilled.  The beautiful headband is whimsical and fun.  It will absolutely fit your child’s head because it is adjustable.  The strings tie underneath.  This also means that you can make the headband as loose or as tight as you want, matching the hairstyle.  I love this!

After Heather extended a free handmade item, I felt compelled to really look through her whole shop.  Somehow, I had missed this gorgeous brimmed crocheted hat that I had to get for my daughter.  It is super comfy and fits perfectly.  Heather offers a lot of customization.  The felt accent is your choosing: double circles, flower, heart, star, or any number or letter. You also get your choice of colors.  The hats are available in sizes 0-3, 3-9, 9-18, and 2-5T.
