Trick or Feet! {Stride Rite}
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Stride Rite. I received products to facilitate my review and thank me for my participation.
Is it just me or are are the holidays creeping up much faster than they have in the past? My six year old daughter has been going back and forth on what she’ll be for Halloween this year, no less than 100 times. With every magazine that comes in the mail, another ten costumes make it on to her list. Fall is here and that means that the sun now sets around 6 pm versus the lovely 8 pm during the Summer. We live in a very natural neighborhood, so once the sun sets, we have snakes and scorpions all over the streets. On Halloween, we load everyone up with flashlights, but the kids only want to hold their trick or treating bags. In fact, last year we had a snake encounter while going around the neighborhood. So scary! That being said, I was extremely excited when asked to participate in a #sponsored review of Stride Rite’s Halloween shoes. Mostly because I saw that they had entire line of shoes that light up as your child walks.
What’s so exciting about shoes that light up? Well for me, it means built in flashlights to see critters
for one and it also means that I can see where my kids are in the huge crowds of children. We walk the neighborhood with about twenty kids and about every few seconds, you hear a parent scream out their kids name because they aren’t sure where they are in the pack. I can guarantee you that this won’t be happening to me this year because both of my girls will be wearing the new Stride Rite for Disney Wish Light shoes.
First and foremost, these shoes provide excellent support. My older daughter wears hers to school everyday for recess and P.E. class. I kid you not, every single person at my toddler’s day care has asked me about where I got her shoes. They say she runs all around the playground now and all the other kids point to her shoes. In fact, when we picked her up yesterday, the class was so excited when they saw that big sister had her very own pair too! These shoes are durable, comfortable, breathable and safe. I find them both walking down the dark hallways in our house at night because their shoes light up the whole area!
