fall plaids, stripes and marble wash jeggings {FabKids}

Fall brings some of my favorite fashions and I’m loving what I’ve seen from FabKids, including lots of great holiday looks.  It may be autumn, but it’s still in the 90s most days here in Palm Springs.  At least the nights are falling into the amazing high 50’s… that’s desert living for ya!  Really what fall means is that we can go outside again, so we’ve been taking advantage!

In downtown (well really the uptown district) Palm Springs, there is this amazing water feature.  It’s my son’s favorite place to be since he is fascinated with water.  Whenever we are near, we stop for a good half hour to admire the turning poles pouring water into the fountain base.

Oh right, the shirt!  That’s the Blue Plaid Shirt from FabKids, a staple for any boys closet.  The different shades of blue ranging light to dark with aqua in between is such a great combination.  It features soft cotton fabric with a a relaxed fit and feel.  The sleeves are easily rolled, though I wish they had one of those straps to keep them in place.

Beside the fountain is a very cool, big seating area with multiple water fall steps.  My kids love to hop around here.

Paired with the plaid shirt, I have the Contrast Denim from Fabkids (and Pediped shoes).  I love Fabkids denim!  You don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for it ($30 regular) but it is very durable.  My son is a maniac.  He runs so fast and often his ambition outweighs his little legs… so he falls quite a bit.  I can’t believe he hasn’t torn the knees up of these jeans yet!  A lesser quality would for sure be destroyed already.  They have an adjustable waist so they grow with your tot, a must-have feature for me.  The special part of these jeans is the roll-up feature at the bottom of the pant — a perfect contrast detail.

Annnnnd… here go our best attempt at catching this on-the-go tot.  He is SO hard to catch in focus and of course rarely does he look at the camera.  That’s a toddler boy for ya!

Of course big sister had to have a new FabKids outfit as well.  We’re both kind of in love with this top and she wears it all the time with different pants and leggings.  There are so many great colors in the Multi-Stripe Top so it is easy to find lots of matching bottoms.  It has a relaxed fit, which I love and is super soft with a bit of weight to it – perfect for cooler fall temperatures.

From FabKids, we paired the sparkly top with these amazing Marble Wash Jeggings, which crop above the ankle.  I absolutely adore the marble contrast, it is so pretty in person!  These are adjustable, thankfully, and fit very snug (yet move with your kids).
