Oatmeal Pumpkin Enzyme Facial Mask {DIY}
This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Dawn. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.
I have this theory that you can always tell a person’s age by their hands. We often overlook this time-telling space of skin, which is a fatal flaw for those who want to remain looking young! Moisturizing is for more than your face, which is why I love Dawn Hand Renewal, as it won’t dry out skin when you are cleaning up big messes this summer. Join me for a bit of pampering, won’t you?
I recently made a decision to spend more time on myself… just simple things throughout the day that make me happy. I’ve made daily workouts mandatory again, I make time for my summer reads and small pamperings happen daily. Keeping all of my skin fresh and moisturized is a top priority and I have a bit of an obsession with creating face masks!
This Exfoliating Oatmeal Face Mask is simple and effective, my favorite kind! The recipe recommended banana but my 16 month old inhales bananas like there is no tomorrow and I was out (real life, folks). I subbed in pumpkin, which has amazing enzymes in it that naturally exfoliate, brighten skin (Vitamin C) and even skin tone/heal acne (Vitamin A).
Oatmeal Pumpkin Enzyme Mask
1 Tbl ground oats
1/4 cup fresh pumpkin puree
1 tsp soy milk
1 tsp raw honey
When making an oatmeal mask, it is SUPER crucial to grind down the oats. You wont be able to get the right consistency without this step, so grab your muddler!
Slather it on thick and then go do something else for 15 minutes… like wash dishes! Rinse off with warm water and a facial sponge. Splash with cold water to close pores and pat skin dry with soft towel.
Clean-up is a breeze with Dawn Hand Renewal as it cuts through everything, including tough grease or caked-on oatmeal! After a quick wash, I was done with my mask bowl and muddler. Instead of pulling away dry hands though, they felt relatively unaffected! If anything, they felt a bit softer. You’ve won me over easily! I also use this product on my delicate glasses that need to be handwashed. I love the sparkling clear results!

Oh nice, I bet that feels like heaven on the skin. Thanks for this, I’m trying it this afternoon!
I’ve been dealing with oily skin with dry patches lately – i should try this mask to see if it helps.
Ooooo I’m all about the mini facials!! What a great idea :)
We use Dawn in our house, but I haven’t tried the Olay one yet! Sounds like it was great at clean-up after your mask, and perfect for keeping your hands looking young.

Hello! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers?
I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked
hard on. Any tips?
You’re so awesome! I do not think I’ve read through something like this before.
So wonderful to find another person with some original thoughts on this subject matter.
Seriously.. many thanks for starting this up.
