the new Caprice diaper bag {JJ Cole} + Giveaway

JJ Cole CapriceI wouldn’t necessarily call myself a diaper bag snob, but I definitely ask a lot out of the bags I carry. Since I work full time and have an older daughter in sports, my diaper bag needs to fulfill quite a few needs of mine. Number one is that it has to look good and by good, I mean cute and expensive looking. Hey, at least I’m honest! Since I’m still breastfeeding and pumping, when I bring my younger daughter to my mother’s house, I need to have full bottles of milk, toys, extra clothes and everything she might need in a day. I’ve owned and tried out several diaper bags over the past few years and typically I have complaints about all of them. But in all honesty, the brand new Caprice bag from JJ Cole kinda knocked my socks off.

The Caprice bag absolutely fulfilled my requirement of it looking good. In fact, I couldn’t decide on the print I liked the most, so I just let someone else choose for me. When it arrived, I unpacked the current bag I was using and checked out all of the compartments for me to move my things over. With my previous bag, I put bottles in the side pockets, but had to pack an extra cooler to hold the rest of the bottles. With the Caprice, that is no longer something I have to do. As you can see from the pictures below, the outside side pockets are not only insulated, but they hold two bottles on each side!!! I seriously did a dance when I saw this! If for some reason i needed more space for bottles, there are so many compartments on the inside as well. My older daughter loves that when we go to her soccer games that she can put her water bottles in the pockets as well. Before, she had to carry her own water. The inside is so nicely laid out that I have places for diapers, wipes, snacks, extra clothes, etc. The bag opens nicely and allows me to easily access and most importantly, find items in the bag quickly. So many other bags have a very skinny profile and it’s really annoying to try and find anything in those bags. They’re cute, but they aren’t functional. The Caprice also has exterior pockets that are great to hold keys, my cell phone, wallet, etc. This way I can keep my items separate from my kids. LOVE!

Now let’s talk ease of use. The Caprice bag is also handy because it can be carried as a tote with the handles and it also has a removable padded shoulder strap. My husband loves that option because he can carry the bag messenger style. Thirdly, the bag also comes with Grips, which are stroller attachments that clip on the metal loops on the sides of the bag. This allows you to quickly clasp your bag onto your stroller handle. I can’t tell you how many people have stopped me and told me what a handy bag this is. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the most impact. This bag is by far my favorite diaper bag and most of all, it plays and looks the part of a bag that’s four times as expensive. At $69, this bag is affordable and is honestly worth a lot more in my opinion

For the first time in a long time, I honestly do not have a single bag thing to say about this bag. Believe me, I tried to think of something. This bag makes me feel and look completely organized. See more photos of the Caprice bag on JJ Cole’s site and check out all of their other bags. For one lucky reader, we have one Caprice bag to give away!
