We are long term Tea Collection fans here at In The Know Mom. Their children’s clothing has become an absolute staple in our kids’ closets. When I find myself looking for a unique dress or outfit, something more worldly, something less generic, Tea is one of my first choices. I heard awhile back that Tea was expanding their line of fabulous clothing to reach grown women. This was mega exciting news for me and I fell in love with the first designs to show themselves, one being a belted mustard knit cardigan. Now, the line has spread it’s wings, covering all springs essentials under their current Catalonia theme. Tunics, dresses, sweaters, tops, pants, and even scarves are now available.
I can attest to the superior quality of Tea apparel for not only girl’s clothing, but now women’s. It was difficult to figure out what pieces I really wanted to try out. The collection is expanding (and selling out). I finally decided on the Línea Skinny Pant in praline, and the Striped Modernista Tee. I thought the two would pair super well. I love the vertical lines of the pants with the horizontal stripe of the top. And since both a neutral, there’s a big opportunity for a bold accessory. love. The skinny pants fit so well, I decided I needed to go back for the other color. I’d say the pants run true to size, but the top I tested ran a little large, so order a size smaller. The outfit is made of really comfy and soft cotton. Both are machine washable, which is nice since most of my closet is not it seems. I took the garments for a spin and upon their arrival from laundry pile, they had not shrunk or changed in any way. whew. That first load always makes me nervous.
I completely recommend trying out a few pieces of the new women’s clothing line by Tea. Make sure to keep checking in with them to see the next collection. I know I can’t wait to see where they go next! Thanks for wowing me again, Tea Collection.
