toddler bed transition necessities {Burt’s Bees Baby}
My son just turned one, and I know it may seem early to many, but he’s now sleeping in a toddler bed. So far, so good. New bed meant new bedding and I just knew Burt’s Bees Baby would have the softest options. Right I was.
Okay, so maybe we have had one hiccup during the toddler bed transition. Night one, my son decided to gnaw on his bedrail like an ear of corn. Yes, he is teething but it still came as quite a shock to me. Turns out they make products to prevent such destruction — figured that one out a little too late!
The fitted crib sheets from Burt’s Bees Baby are 100% organic cotton (as is the rest of the collection) and they are perfect. Sized well for crib mattresses, they are easy to put on and they stay on very well. Soft as your baby’s bum, they are ideal for sensitive baby skin, no scratchy fabrics here! Find them in mix and match solids and simple designs.
To top my little bundle is the Burt’s Bees Baby Dottie Bee Baby Quilt, a thick and warm, yet not smothering blanket. Again, so soft, my son clings to this blanket and likes to drag it around the house. It ends up on the couch during the day, a perfect cuddling quilt. It’s dimensions are 37 x 46 and it comes in blue or pink.
To ease the transition from crib to toddler bed you need to be prepared with a few things. One, familiar sleeping buddies, like a Bommerscheim Buddie and a Twilight Turtle. Mandatory.
Two, a warm bottle of your toddler’s favorite milk.
And three, comfortable, organic bedding of course. Set your baby or toddler up right with lush bedding from Burt’s Bees Baby online. Keep in the know by liking Burt’s Bees Baby on Facebook.

Have you heard of Clouds and Stars Quick Zip sheets? Best. Invention. EVER. Check them out! http://www.cloudsandstars.com/qzorganic.aspx
Funny you mention because I love them! I actually have one on that mattress under the Burt’s Bees Baby sheet. I love how well it keeps the mattress pad in place. I like the Burt’s Bees Baby sheets over top though because they are so much softer. = )
Yep, I love them too. I have them on both kids’ beds. I’ll be sad when my 7 yr old moves to her own room and into the queen sized bed, since they don’t make them in that size. :(
We had a wood-gnawing baby, too! She would chew on her crib and the piano. It drove me crazy!
That comforter looks so soft and thick! One of my brothers always chewed the furniture. His crib wasn’t reusable because he destroyed i, it looked like a dog got to it.
All time I buy organic beddings like mattress pads, baby blankets, comforters, quilts, pillows online. I have found many sites but I like Amenityhome is best for it.
I just got the burts bees organic sheet alphabet and love love it. It’s the best I have so soft. I can’t wait to get the matching quilt that you have.
