Award Winning Items {MAM} + Giveaway

It’s always fascinating to me how babies prefer certain brands over others. They like the feel of the bottle, shape and texture of the nipples and of course they all have to work together or they will likely spit it out and yell at you. MAM has been our pacifier of choice since the moment my daughter was done with the hospital soothie. Personally, the soothie popped out of her mouth so many times, I was happy to make the switch! I was not very surprised to hear that MAM Mini Air Pacifier and MAM Perfect Pacifier along with the MAM Trainer cup were named 2013 National Parenting Publications Award (NAPPA) Winners. The Perfect Pacifier was a Gold Winner in the Maternity/Breastfeeding category and MAM’s Mini-Air pacifier and Trainer cup were Silver Winners in the Maternity/Breastfeeding category.

Most other pacifiers have one choice to make 0 – 6 months and 6 months + as far as choices go. I really love that MAM not only has the age difference, but they have different styles to choose from as well. I adore her MAM Night that glows in the dark. It creates a soft glow so when she spits the bit in the middle of the night and wakes up wanting it back, she can find it on her own.

What’s the difference in their other options you ask? The MAM Perfect is your perfect choice especially for newborns. The design is extra thin, super-soft and flexible nipple specially engineered to reduce the risk of misaligned teeth. The unique Dento-Flex™ nipple neck is 60% thinner and 3 times softer than those of comparable pacifiers*; the thinner, softer nipple provides less pressure on baby’s jaw and teeth to help reduce the risk of jaw deformations and malocclusions. MAM Mini Air is the mini version of the award winning MAM Air. The lightweight shiled has wide openings to provide extra air flow allowing your baby’s skin to breathe. The Air is also my daughter’s favorite because she can hook her finger into it to easily pick it up and put it in her mouth. Plus her mouth doesn’t get all wet.

MAM doesn’t just stop at pacifiers. Their MAM Trainer cup was an award winner for having features such as small handles to help babies become more independent. The soft spout is a great transition from sucking to drinking as well.

I’ve never tried any MAM products, but I’ve heard that the pacifiers are good for babies with cleft lips, which my daughter has. So I’d love to try the pacifiers!

My son has a cleft lip as well! It has been repaired but still needs a revision. =) We only use MAM pacifiers.
