I will admit that my 4 year old son doesn’t quite know how to get his clothes on properly. So, when his teacher told me that he will not have any assistance in the bathrooms at school this year I panicked. I feel horrible for not having him more prepared to deal with this situations but, honestly it just never hit me that I need to teach my son to be independent enough to use the restrooms on his own at the age of 4!
He has no problem taking his clothes off but putting his underwear and pants back on efficiently is a problem. So, in the meantime while I’m working with him on being able to go to the bathroom alone I thought it would be best if he had a few pairs of pants that would be easier for him to put on himself. This brings me to Adatine.
This Etsy Shop was created by two friends and neighbors who were inspired by their native Lithuanian textile tradition. Using natural fabrics such as linen, cotton, and wool to create comfortable and airy clothing for children to wear. My son’s grey cotton corduroy’s are his new favorite pants! The boy loves comfort and would prefer to go pants-less at home, so the fact that he will even consider wearing these pants around the house tells me just how comfortable they are! Happy boy, happy mommy : )
Along with their line of natural fashion for both boys and girls Adatine offers toys, accessories, as well as home decor. Most of these items have been hand woven, hand knitted or crocheted.
