Boon: meal time fun

I love Boon, they speak to my soul. They come up with some of the most amazing items with clean, sleek lines and fun colors. We’ve previously raved about the Boon Potty Bench and how our girls love them. My daughter loves to press the button on the Boon Flo to create huge bubbles in her bath. Well, they also have a great feeding line as well.
Their Bender spoon is oh so cool. I used to buy those metal handled spoons with the soft end to them from the grocery store in bulk, but the problem was that when my daughter was ready to begin feeding herself, not a single bit of food would end up in her mouth! The Benders are designed to work with your child’s developing motor skills. You can bend the handles so that when your child grasps the spoon, they have an easier time bringing the spoon to their mouth. As your child develops you can lessen the tilt on the spoon until eventually you keep the handle straight.
Boon’s Fluid sippy cup has a unique ergonomical two-handed grip that’s ideal for little ones hands. The spout is angled to require less head tilting when they’re trying to drink from it. It’s dishwasher safe and holds up to 9 oz of fluids. The spout is more geared towards early sippy cup users as the flow is not extremely fast.
The Catch Bowl is one of my new favorites! I can’t tell you how many times that my daughter has eaten cereal or oatmeal and I’m pushing her as far as I can into the table with her bowl on the edge to prevent as many spills as possible. Nonetheless, despite my efforts, there’s always a few spoonfuls that miss her mouth and end up on her clothes, the floor or the table. This is exactly why I fell in love with the Catch Bowl. The built-in food catcher extends out towards your child and with it’s tilted feature, the fallen items fall directly back into the bowl! I could’ve probably even used this during my late night ice cream binges while pregnant! If that wasn’t enough, the bottom of the bowl has a handy suction cup feature so that the bowl stays firmly in place while your little one eats. So even an accidental nudge won’t send the bowl flying off the table.

When your child begins to eat finger foods, they also have this very strong desire to do things by themselves. Meal times can be a very frustrating process for parents as you stand back and fight the urge to help them feed themselves. Food typically ends up everywhere. Mom and entrepreneur, Cary Bice, dealt with these same frustrations. This is why Cary and her husband, Justin, created
