Breast Cancer is unfortunately a disease that has probably impacted either you or someone close to you. It shows no discrimination on the women it chooses to affect. Both Sarah and I have grandmothers who both underwent double mastectomies from breast cancer. My grandmother eventually passed and it really pushed me to be an active participant in charity functions, marathons and in purchasing my Pink products whenever I see them. October is the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is dedicated to increasing awareness of the importance of early breast cancer detection.

What can you do? Make sure you’re doing self exams every month. Make sure you’re going for your regular mammograms. Help support finding a cure by purchasing PINK products and wearing them as reminders for you and for others.

We’ve all been guilty of heading to the gym or running a quick errand in that extremely unflattering baggy t-shirt and running shorts that should’ve been banned back in 1991.  Whether walking the kids around the block, washing windows or attending a local yoga class, it’s important to wear something that not only makes you look good, but makes you feel good too! Yep, I wore tight yoga pants to pick my daughter up from school….and I looked absolutely fabulous doing it! I foresee wearing these as my staple lounging pants, maternity pants and my whenever-I-can-sneak-it-in workout pants.

Sarah – I have two day modes… a day dress and heels or comfy lounge wear and flats.  There is never an in between as I find jeans uncomfortable.  So when I’m running to the grocery store for produce and booze, I pull on yoga pants.  They breathe well and move with you as you run your daily errands.  I have been known to haunt yoga and pilates classes but avoid the gym like a plague.  I’m much more a go-outside-and-do-something exerciser: hikes, bikes, tennis, runs, golf, ect.  And with the exception of golf (that’d just be silly) I can wear these yoga pants most anywhere.  Out of all the lounge or yoga pants I’ve owned in my life, these are by far the most comfortable.  I must admit, I too have worn these pants at one point every day for the past week.  As soon as they go through the wash I just slip them back on.  And the best part is they hug and compliment your gams and behind, and who doesn’t want that?
